The military threat from Belarus would become real if attempts are made to destabilize the situation along the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.

This was stated on television by Andrii Demchenko, spokesperson for Ukraine's State Border Guard Service, according to Ukrinform.

Asked when the threat from Belarus would shift from being potential to real, Demchenko replied: "When there are attempts to destabilize the situation directly along the border and carry out various provocations."

He added that Ukraine's Defense Forces have significantly strengthened their positions along the Belarusian border, and these efforts continue.

"Engineering units of the State Border Guard Service, as well as other branches of the Defense Forces, are involved in this work. Local authorities are also contributing. Together, they are expanding engineering obstacles, including destroying routes that could be used to cross the border. They are also continuing to develop video surveillance systems and fortifications, while Armed Forces units are reinforcing minefields and explosive barriers in the most threatened sectors," Demchenko explained.
