FIFA president Gianni Infantino is set to hold a crisis meeting with senior FIFA officials in Rabat, Morocco, on Wednesday as mounting pressure continues to build following the collapse of his controversial FIFA Forward Enterprise (FFE) proposal.
The emergency talks come after Infantino was forced to abandon plans to establish FIFA Forward Enterprise, a commercial subsidiary that would have overseen the commercial and operational rights of FIFA’s major tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup and Club World Cup.

The proposal, which included plans to sell a 20 percent stake in the new company to private investors, triggered fierce opposition from football stakeholders across the globe.
