The Progressive Conservative expenses scandal — that has cost one cabinet minister his job — is having an impact on Premier Doug Ford’s popularity, a new poll suggests.
While Ford’s Tories still lead in the Abacus Data tracking survey, the governing party’s support has dipped two percentage points to 40 per cent from 42 per cent two weeks earlier, while the Liberals and the NDP have each seen a similar uptick.
