Data center segment revenue climbed to $6.7 billion in the second quarter, up 107% from a year earlier, driving total revenue to $11.5 billion

AMD $AMD reported second-quarter revenue of $11.5 billion, a 50% increase from the same period last year and a company record, driven by surging demand for its data center products.
Data center segment revenue reached $6.7 billion, up 107% year over year, fueled by strong sales of AMD EPYC processors and Instinct GPUs, the company said. That segment accounted for 58% of total company revenue in the quarter.
