—No renewal. At the mandatory July 1 joint review, the United States declined to renew the USMCA in its current form, moving the pact into rolling annual reviews.

—Still in force. Preferential tariffs, rules of origin and dispute settlement are unchanged; without a three-way renewal the agreement expires on July 1, 2036.

—Narrowing list. Unresolved US demands have fallen from 54 to 14, while Mexico holds 13 counter-demands centered on steel, aluminium, autos and labor rules.
