The housing market showed signs of recovery last month, with transactions across the nation’s six special municipalities posting consecutive monthly and annual gains as buyers returned after a prolonged slowdown.Property transfers in Taipei, New Taipei City, Taoyuan, Taichung, Tainan and Kaohsiung totaled 20,506 units last month, rising 12 percent from June and up 8.8 percent from a year earlier, data released on Monday by the six municipal land administration authorities showed.New Taipei City led with 4,850 transactions, followed by Taoyuan with 4,150, Taichung (3,703), Kaohsiung (3,564), Taipei (2,352) and Tainan (1,887).
