Schneider Electric says it is making solid progress against its Impact 2030 roadmap, with the first half of 2026 showing further gains in emissions reduction, energy efficiency and circular design.
The company says it is staying on course to hit its annual sustainability targets while continuing to decarbonise its operations, supply chain and customer solutions. The update also underlines how energy management, digital tools and supply chain performance are becoming increasingly central to the wider energy transition.
Schneider Electric has positioned itself as a major technology player in the shift towards lower-carbon energy systems, using software and operational changes to help customers use energy more efficiently.
In the first half of 2026, Schneider Electric said it cut Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 82% against its 2017 baseline and reduced Scope 3 emissions by 12% compared with its 2021 baseline.
Its technologies also helped customers save or electrify 129.5 million MWh of energy in the period, which Schneider Electric says contributed to more than 50 million tonnes of emissions avoided. Since 2018, the company says its solutions have helped customers avoid 913 million tonnes of emissions, showing the scale of its role in lowering energy demand across sectors.
