Pfizer Inc.
(NYSE:PFE) stock rose Tuesday after the drugmaker reported better-than-expected second-quarter results and raised its fiscal 2026 revenue outlook while affirming its earnings guidance.
Pfizer Beats Estimates, Lifts Revenue Outlook Chairman and CEO Albert Bourla said the company's launched and acquired products continued to perform well, its obesity program is gaining momentum and its oncology portfolio remains a key strength.
Pfizer reported adjusted earnings of 77 cents per share, topping the Wall Street estimate of 69 cents.
Revenue increased 1% operationally to $15.03 billion, exceeding analysts' expectations of $14.41 billion.
