The 25-year-old is preparing for his fourth NFL season, and a decision on his fifth-year option was due May 1. Both sides, though, had prioritized a contract extension this offseason.The extension is for four years and worth up to $140 million, with $108 million in guaranteed money, per team sources who were not permitted to speak because financial details had not yet been released. This extension makes Flowers the fourth-highest-paid receiver in the NFL behind Seattle’s Jaxon Smith-Njigba ($42.15 million per year), Cincinnati’s Ja’Marr Chase ($40.25 million) and Atlanta’s Drake London ($35.3 million).
