Hansard, frontman of The Frames, died last week at 56 in a motorcycle crash on the outskirts of Dublin, shortly after a traditional music session. He was celebrated for his Oscar-winning song Falling Slowly, his role in The Commitments, and his annual Christmas Eve charity busk for the homeless.
