The summit, held on July 31 by Gori, a U.S.-based digital supply chain and logistics company, and NTQ, a global technology and digital transformation partner, brought together nearly 100 representatives from Vietnamese businesses, along with logistics and technology experts, to discuss developments in cross-border trade, e-commerce, and supply chain management.

A central theme was how Vietnamese businesses can remain competitive amid increasingly complex global supply chains and changing trade regulations.
Robert Raines Jr., a former senior executive at the United States Postal Service (USPS), said U.S. import regulations and customs requirements have become more stringent. He advised businesses to closely monitor policy changes, remain flexible in responding to market conditions, and work with logistics partners that can adapt to changes.
He also noted that air freight has become a more cost-effective option for shipping smaller parcels in some cases, alongside traditional ocean freight.
