SB Telecom Singapore – a subsidiary of SoftBank – SC Capital Partners' data center arm SC Zeus, and Malaysian IT consultant Robust HPC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to build data centers in Southeast Asia.
SB Telecom will be responsible for data hall fit-out, ICT infrastructure integration, deployment support, and connectivity; SC Zeus will be the preferred partner to source land, design, build, and operate the data center infrastructure, and Robust HPC will manage the procurement and setup of GPU clusters.

These data centers will focus on Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam – all of which are growing data center markets in the region. SB Telecom said that the trio had plans to expand to the wider Southeast Asian region, but the amount, size, and construction timeline of these data centers were not provided.
An MoU is a preliminary, non-binding agreement.
