The Syzran oil refinery was reportedly set ablaze in a new Ukrainian drone attack on Tuesday morning, less than a month after a previous strike forced the facility to halt processing. Ukrainian monitoring channels Supernova and Exilenova+ reported that drones struck the refinery in Russia’s Samara region on Aug. 4. The refinery has an annual processing capacity of about 8.5 million tons of crude oil and produces approximately 800,000 tons of gasoline and 1.5 million tons of diesel fuel each year. Separately, drones targeted a Wildberries logistics hub in Russia’s Tver region overnight, regional governor Vitaly Korolev said. According to Korolev, debris from a drone partially damaged a wall of the 77,000-square-meter warehouse during what Russian authorities described as an interception attempt. No casualties were reported. The facility, located on the eastern outskirts of Tver in the Kalininsky district, suspended operations, and employees were evacuated. Footage published by the local Telegram channel Ostorozhno, Tver appeared to show people running away from the warehouse. The hub began operating in December 2025. The Tver incident followed reported attacks on Wildberries facilities in Chekhov in the Moscow region and Krasny Bor in the St. Petersburg region on Tuesday. Another company logistics center in Russia’s Vladimir region was attacked a day earlier.
