After years of building its presence at Paris Fashion Week, MaXhosa Africa is set to make history with its first official runway show, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of African luxury fashion.
After years of steadily building its presence on one of fashion's biggest stages, MaXhosa Africa is set to make history at Paris Fashion Week.
While the South African luxury fashion house is no stranger to the prestigious event, having showcased its collections over the past five seasons, 2026 marks a major milestone. For the first time, MaXhosa Africa has been approved to present a full runway show on the official Paris Fashion Week schedule rather than a runway-style presentation.
The achievement also makes it the first South African fashion brand to receive this distinction, cementing its place among the world's leading luxury labels.
The runway show will take place on September 28, the opening day of Paris Fashion Week, as the brand celebrates 16 years of redefining African luxury through its signature knitwear, bold patterns and contemporary storytelling.
