Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC) deputy, Advocate Peter Serunye, has testified at the Madlanga Commission on Tuesday.

The Madlanga Commission resumed on Tuesday, with senior officials from the Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC) set to face renewed scrutiny over allegations of irregular decision-making and controversial investigations.

Deputy IDAC head Advocate Peter Serunye is testifying, days after former IDAC chief Advocate Andrea Johnson appeared before the commission.

Johnson remains at the centre of serious allegations, including claims that she spearheaded the controversial "Project Diversion", which allegedly targeted senior police officials.

The commission will also continue to hear evidence from IDAC advocate Drushantha Ramsamy, whose testimony was postponed last Thursday.
