The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is getting pretty positive review, and it looks like this wide format device is the shape of foldable phones to come. That includes the iPhone Ultra, which is expected to launch this fall.Based on the iPhone Ultra (aka iPhone Fold) rumors thus far, it looks like Apple’s device is going to be slightly heavier and thicker but sport a very similar passport-style design. And the result is indeed impressive.Thanks to Flex Titanium technology, the Fold 8’s display uses a titanium-alloy film to achieve a more stretchable panel. Meanwhile, a titanium plate supports the display module from beneath, allowing for tighter bonding and eliminating air gaps.The crease is still there, but it’s less noticeable than on the Fold 7. However, Apple is apparently working on a truly crease-free display for the iPhone Ultra and is reportedly partnering with Samsung Display to make it happen.Apple is apparently pulling this off by employing liquid metal alloy components inside the hinge mechanism.
