Benue State Police Command is currently investigating the claim by the seminarian, Kelvin Ochai who was allegedly abducted at the residence of Catholic Bishop, Otukpo in Benue State.

The seminarian was allegedly abducted on Wednesday but resurfaced two days after in Aliade, headquarters of Gwer East Local Government Area of the state.

The Otukpo Catholic diocese had issued a statement on Friday concerning the abduction of the seminarian at the residence of Catholic Bishop of Otukpo, confirming that Ochai was indeed abducted but managed to escape through divine intervention.

But the spokesperson for the state command, DSP, Peter Aondongu, who responded to the abduction report by the Catholic Church explained that the circumstances that surrounded the disappearance of the seminarian was more of a case of missing person.
