The official trailer for Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother has arrived.
In partnership with Orion Films and Amazon MGM Studios, the latest feature written and directed by Bassam Tariq follows Latif (Mahershala Ali), a devoutly religious hitman who struggles to balance work, faith, and fatherhood.
The trailer spotlights Latif as he fights to support his children after the death of their mother, battling grueling obstacles across Houston to survive and provide for his family. As he searches for breast milk for his infant daughter alongside his teenage daughter (Adia) and his young son, Latif is unexpectedly pulled into a hit job that places him in direct contact with faith leader Hwan Yoon (John Cho).
The cast also includes Abubakr Ali, Laith Nakli, Tramell Tillman, Tiffany Boone, Giancarlo Esposito, and Jahleel Kamara.
The film arrives after Ali was set to portray Blade in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He spent more than a year training for the role before the project was reportedly scrapped, but that preparation helped him step into this latest film.
