Fresh off of two buzzy TV performances this year in Margo’s Got Money Troubles and The Madison, Michelle Pfeiffer has a new perspective on what roles she’s looking to take on.
Speaking at THR x Apple TV’s Leading the Narrative: The Women of Apple TV event on Sunday, Pfeiffer — sitting alongside fellow Emmy nominees Elle Fanning, Dale Dickey, Karolina Wydra, Rhea Seehorn and Jessica Williams — declared, “I never want to star in another movie, I swear to God. I only want to do ensemble pieces. It’s so much more fun, I love it so much.”
It’s a big comment from an actress whose movie career includes Dangerous Liaisons, Batman Returns, Scarface, Hairspray and The Fabulous Baker Boys. This year, though, she has starred in and exec produced both of her TV ventures, with both renewed for more seasons.
