Strategy Inc. (NASDAQ:MSTR) Executive Chairman Michael Saylor defended his long-standing “Never Sell Your Bitcoin” mantra after renewed debate over the company’s ability to sell Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) to manage capital.
Conviction In BTC Remains Unchanged
Saylor on Monday clarified that his personal investment philosophy differs from Strategy’s corporate treasury management.
“When I say ‘Never Sell Your Bitcoin,’ I speak as one saver to another,” Saylor said on X. “I have never sold mine. Not one satoshi.”
He noted that Strategy, as a publicly traded company, has disclosed since 2020 that it may buy or sell Bitcoin as part of capital management.
