Cyberabad Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Sunpreet Singh on Monday inspected key traffic junctions and ongoing infrastructure works along National Highway 65 in the Patancheru Traffic Police Station limits, directing officials to improve road safety and ease congestion.During the inspection, he visited major junctions on NH-65, the waterlogging point near Pista House at Muthangi, and the stretch between Isnapur and Rudraram where road widening and flyover construction works are under way.Reviewing traffic management arrangements, he instructed the executing agencies and police officials to clear waterlogging at the earliest, ensure uninterrupted movement of vehicles and expedite the ongoing road widening and flyover works to minimise inconvenience to commuters.Later, he visited the Patancheru Traffic Police Station, where he reviewed the station’s functioning, including staff strength, traffic enforcement measures and road accident cases.He directed officers to intensify enforcement against traffic violations, increase checks against drunken driving, maintain proper records and adopt a public-friendly approach while managing traffic.The inspection was attended by DCP (Traffic-II) Sheshadrini Reddy, ACP Adi Murthy of Miyapur Traffic Division, Patancheru Traffic SHO Shyam Sunder Reddy and Reserve Inspector Naresh.
