Every year, millions of young Nigerians take their first steps toward investing. Some begin with stocks, others with mutual funds or digital assets. But many share the same challenge: they’re expected to make financial decisions before they fully understand how investing works.

For Ifiok Ukut, that gap has become impossible to ignore.

Having worked across investment banking, portfolio management, and financial advisory, Ukut has spent years helping structure investments, evaluate businesses, and understand how wealth is created and managed. Along the way, one question continued to stand out: why should quality investment knowledge and opportunities remain accessible to only a small segment of the population?

That question became the foundation for Growtt.

Launched in 2026, Growtt is an education-first investment platform designed to help young Africans build financial confidence before committing capital. Rather than asking users to invest immediately, the platform combines financial education, practical learning tools, simulations, and access to investment opportunities to help users make more informed decisions over time.
