The On Cloudboom Strike 2 might not be the fastest carbon plate running shoe I’ve tested, but it’s still worth considering because it’s more stable and comfortable than many racers, and undeniably fast. Marathoners looking for a more accessible racer might find it here, but those looking for a more aggressive super-shoe will be better served by the likes of the Puma Fast-R 3 and Asics Metaspeed shoes.
