Skinner spent five years managing the club, during which he achieved significant milestones for the team. Under his leadership, Manchester United Women secured their first major honour by winning the Women’s FA Cup in 2024. He also guided the team to their highest domestic finish, coming second in the WSL in 2023, and led them to the group stages of the Women’s Champions League for the first time.
