As the conflict between the United States and Iran persists, casualties are being documented beyond the primary belligerents, with Egypt now allegedly among the affected nations.

Initial reports indicated that a drone suspected to be from Iran struck a port belonging to the North African country of Egypt.

According to CNN, two ships were set on fire on the 29th of July as a result of the strike, the first time, according to the report, Egypt had suffered an attack from the war.

Concerning the attack, US President Donald Trump noted that Washington would respond to Iran “very strongly.”

Egypt, which has been very vocal about bringing peace to the Middle East, immediately disclosed that it was going to launch an independent investigation into the drone strike, as the report from the American news outlet admitted that no one had claimed responsibility for the assault.
