Global CFD and prop brokerage firm TenTrade further strengthens its presence and strategic operations in Africa by onboarding Wilfred Obasi as its Regional Director in the region.
Wilfred Obasi takes over TenTrade’s commercial operations from Victor Ufot as the broker plans to accelerate its expansion in Africa. With a wealth of experience in the financial services industry, he had a thirteen-year tenure at Exinity, with his last role being Partner Enablement Manager at the broker’s Dubai office.
Obasi’s expertise covers key aspects of FX and CFD operations, from leading client acquisition processes and partner management to overarching commercial growth responsibilities, business development, and commercial strategy with a focus on African markets.
Taking the helm of TenTrade’s commercial department in Africa, he will amp up his predecessor’s efforts, leading the broker’s strategic growth. Revenue expansion, client acquisition, partnership development, adding new instruments and tailoring the broker’s CFD and prop offering in line with African traders’ expectations, and new market penetration are high on Obasi’s agenda for this year.
As he starts his journey with the broker, Obasi said, “I’m excited to lead TenTrade’s commercial efforts in Africa. There is immense potential yet to be explored in the region. My primary focus will naturally be on deepening relationships with our partners and brokers here and making sure every trader who works with us feels that commitment. TenTrade has built some strong momentum here already, and I’m glad to be part of driving it forward.”
