How Dr Rishigen Viranna's mom inspired his journey to head a health clinic at Denis Hurley Centre

Dr Rishigen Viranna has succeeded Sister Thobile Mthembu as the head of the Usizo Lwethu Sibaya Clinic at the Denis Hurley Centre in Durban.

Dr Rishigen Viranna, the former KwaZulu-Natal Member of the Provincial Legislature, will head the Usizo Lwethu Sibaya Clinic at the Denis Hurley Centre (DHC) in Durban.

Dr Raymond Perrier, director of the DHC, made the public announcement on Friday.

Viranna has succeeded Sister Thobile Mthembu as the head of the clinic.

Perrier said after five months of helping out, on and off, Viranna was inspired to apply for the vacancy created by Mthembu’s planned departure.
