A liver health awareness run was organised by the Liver Foundation at C. Kandaswami Naidu College in Anna Nagar on Sunday to promote healthy lifestyles and preventive healthcare.According to a press release, Anna Nagar MLA V.K. Ramkumar flagged off the event, which featured a 3-km awareness walk, a 5-km wellness run, and a 10-km run. The organisers said the initiative sought to encourage regular physical activity, balanced nutrition, and timely screening for liver diseases.The release said that around 1,500 people participated in the event, where liver health awareness messages were displayed on LED screens throughout the programme.
