Russian forces launched a second consecutive drone strike on the primary logistics hub of the Ukrainian e-commerce company Rozetka in the Kyiv region city of Brovary, targeting the facility twice within a 24-hour period. [It is] definitely not an accident, but a targeted strike,” the company stated, confirming that no employees were injured in the overnight bombardment. Despite the repeated attacks, the retailer reported that operations are continuing on schedule. The nighttime strike followed a deadly daytime attack on the same warehouse complex on Saturday morning, Aug. 1. During the initial strike, 270 employees were working on-site. The attack killed a 61-year-old company employee, identified as Volodymyr Melnychenko, and injured seven others, including one individual who remains in serious condition. Kyiv Regional Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko previously noted that the Saturday blast also damaged at least 12 vehicles on the premises.
