A daytime Russian drone attack struck a logistics center belonging to the e-commerce company Rozetka in Brovary, Kyiv region, on Saturday, Aug. 1, killing one person and injuring six others. Kyiv Regional Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko confirmed the strike on the warehouse premises, adding that at least 12 vehicles were damaged in the blast. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) reported that rescue teams provided medical assistance to all the victims and continued operations to mitigate the aftermath of the attack. In a separate daytime incident, the DSNS reported that a Russian strike caused a fire at an industrial facility in the Bucha district, leaving three people injured. Fire and rescue units, alongside specialized robotic equipment, were deployed to extinguish the blaze.
Massive overnight attack on Kyiv The daytime drone attacks on the Kyiv region followed a massive nationwide aerial barrage early Saturday morning that involved a total of 35 missiles and 185 attack drones of various types. During the assault, Ukrainian air defenses intercepted just one of 27 Russian ballistic missiles due to a critical shortage of Patriot interceptors.
