Boxer Lee Reeves has been hospitalised after being knocked out during his defeat by Gary Cully on Saturday night.

In what proved to be an enthralling all-Republic of Ireland bout, Reeves was stopped in the 10th and final round by Cully - who sent him tumbling to the canvas with a huge left hand.

There was immediate concern from those inside the 3Arena in Dublin as Reeves stayed down for several moments as officials and medical staff quickly came to his aid.

The 31-year-old was given some oxygen before he left the venue being carried off on a stretcher and taken to hospital.

Taking to X to provide an update, Queensberry promoter Frank Warren wrote: 'All our thoughts and prayers are with Lee Reeves and his family at this time as he remains in hospital.
