The beloved presenter, who has been one of the UK's biggest stars for more than two decades, is said to be preparing to take a step back at the age of 62 following a series of major health battles.‌In recent years Davina's health struggles have included surgery for breast cancer and the removal of a rare brain tumour. Michael, a celebrity hairstylist, revealed the couple are already looking ahead to slowing down and enjoying life together after years of hard work.‌Michael said: "We've got five years of hard work left in us. Then I think it's time for us to relax and enjoy all of that hard work. Davina will be about 62 and I'll be around 58. There comes a point where you think, when do we actually sit back and enjoy everything we've worked so hard for?‌He added to the Daily Mail: "We're both happy and healthy individuals, but that might not last forever." Davina has become one of the most recognisable faces on British television since launching the very first series of Big Brother in 2000.‌She has since fronted a string of hit entertainment and factual programmes, including The Masked Singer, Long Lost Family and My Mum, Your Dad. The retirement plans come just weeks after Davina and Michael celebrated their marriage for a second time with a wedding party at their Kent home.The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at London's Marylebone Town Hall last December after seven years together. They first began dating following Davina's split from her former husband, Matthew Robertson.The celebrations marked a happier chapter for Davina after an incredibly challenging period with her health. Last year, she revealed she had undergone surgery after doctors diagnosed her with breast cancer.‌Davina discovered a lump and underwent treatment at London's Royal Marsden Hospital before receiving positive news. Speaking at the time, she said: "It was very, very small, so I got it very, very early which is incredibly lucky. But I am so relieved to have had it removed and to know that it hasn't spread."Her breast cancer diagnosis came after another frightening health scare in 2024, when doctors discovered a rare colloid cyst on her brain during a routine health check linked to her menopause advocacy work.
