She is one of the busiest women on British television.From launching the very first series of Big Brother in her twenties to fronting some of the nation's biggest entertainment and factual programmes, Davina McCall has spent more than two decades at the very top of the TV industry.But The Mail on Sunday can reveal that Long Lost Family host Davina is to retire in five years – at the age of just 62 following surgery for breast cancer and the removal of a rare brain tumour.Her husband, celebrity hairstylist Michael Douglas, said that the couple plan to spend just another five years working before stepping back to enjoy the life they have built together.'We've got five years of hard work left in us,' he said. 'Then I think it's time for us to relax and enjoy all of that hard work. Davina will be about 62 and I'll be around 58. But I am so relieved to have had it removed and to know that it hasn't spread.'In 2024, the Masked Singer host underwent surgery to remove a rare brain tumour after doctors found a colloid cyst during a health check-up as part of her menopause advocacy work.
