Defense Forces repel 27 enemy assaults in Pokrovsk sector as 234 clashes are recorded along front line over past 24 hours

Over the past day, on August 1, 234 clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders were recorded on the front lines.

According to Ukrinform, this information is contained in a Facebook post by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regarding the situation as of 8:00 a.m. on August 2.

The enemy launched two missile strikes, firing 31 missiles, and carried out 91 airstrikes, dropping 298 guided bombs.

In addition, the Russians deployed 11,083 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,343 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions.

The enemy carried out an airstrike on the area around the settlement of Zelenyi Hai in Sumy region.
