The transfers behind the headlines
Tonali arrived at Spurs from Newcastle United on July 6, 2026, in a deal worth £100 million, making it a club-record signing for Tottenham.
Estevão’s route to Chelsea was slightly longer. The Brazilian winger, born in 2007, completed his move from Palmeiras in the summer of 2025 for an initial fee of around €34 million. With add-ons, the total package could reach approximately €65 million.
