Following a massive Russian attack on Kyiv on the night of August 1, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha called on international partners to expedite decisions regarding the supply of additional air and missile defense systems to Ukraine.
The head of Ukrainian diplomacy wrote about this on the social media platform X, according to Ukrinform.
“A hell of a night in Kyiv. At least 9 people were killed and 23 injured as a result of Russia’s barbaric attack with three dozen ballistic missiles. The second such massive strike in just two days,” Sybiha noted.
According to him, failing to achieve its goals on the battlefield, Russia is intensifying its air attacks and terror against civilians.
Sybiha emphasized that Ukraine urgently needs additional air and missile defense systems, as well as interceptor missiles.
