The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine has received a request from the President's Office asking it to consider opening criminal proceedings against self-proclaimed Belarusian president Alexander Lukashenko.

Quote from Haiovska: "On 30 July 2026, the Prosecutor General's Office registered a request received from the Office of the President of Ukraine for consideration within its remit. The request is currently under review. Once it has been processed, the applicants will be informed in accordance with the procedure established by law."
