Hotel Leela said it continues to execute capital efficient growth strategy
Leela Places Hotels & Resorts saw near five fold growth in consolidated net profit in first quarter FY 27 on the back of higher revenue and lower finance cost.Net profit for the quarter stood at ₹48.7 crore compared to ₹8.7 crore in first quarter FY 26.Operating revenue increased 28 per cent to ₹352 crore helped by 10 per cent increase in room rates and rise in occupancy. Earning before interest tax depreciation and amortisation grew 41 per cent to Rs 143 crore on a year on year basis.“Our first quarter performance outperforming the industry reflects the ensuring strength of The Leela brand and the structural opportunity that we see in India’s underserved luxury hospitality market,” said Anuraag Bhatnagar, company’s whole time director and CEO.Hotel Leela said it continues to execute capital efficient growth strategy and has signed a concession agreements for 30 key wildlife resort in Tadoba Tiger reserve in Maharashtra.
