DLF Q1 profit rises 4% to Rs 793.9 croreNEW DELHI: Realty major DLF Ltd Monday announced a profit of Rs 793.9 crore this Q1, 4% more than Rs 762.7 in the same period last fiscal. This despite a 46% fall in total income declined to Rs 1,605.6 crore this April-June quarter, down from Rs 2,980.9 crore in the same period last fiscal. DLF’s share closed 0.6% up at Rs 663 on BSE Monday when the broader market was up 0.7%.“DLF delivered a resilient performance in Q1FY27… despite deferment of certain planned launches. New sales bookings for the quarter stood at Rs 657 crore, reflecting the timing impact of deferred launches. We remain well positioned to bring our upcoming products to the market and expect the requisite approvals to be received soon for the planned launches... remain confident of achieving our stated medium-term growth goals,” the company said in a statement.India’s most valuable realty company by market share said it “continued with a strong momentum in surplus cash generation, leading to a further improved net cash position of Rs 15,200 crore at the end of the quarter.”
