FaZe Clan is in the middle of a leadership reset. Finn “karrigan” Andersen, the in-game leader who guided the organization to its first Major title, departed in April 2026 after five years with the team. His replacement, Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken, has stepped into the captain role and is now steering the roster through a transition from online play to upcoming LAN events.
A messy handoff at the top
Twistzz didn’t sugarcoat the transition. He described karrigan’s departure as sudden, saying the situation was “not handled the best way.”
As of June 2026, Twistzz took a holiday in Japan and stepped away from practicing CS2 temporarily, ahead of the grind of LAN competition.
