Dr Pimple Popper fans were left feeling sick after hearing a man describe his head cysts as looking like 'scrambled eggs shoved underneath my scalp'09:07, 31 Jul 2026A man has made a distressing revelation about the alarming health struggle he has endured due to cysts on his head.‌During a past episode of Dr Pimple Popper, one unfortunate patient described his head cysts as looking like "scrambled eggs shoved under my scalp".‌The TLC reality show follows Dr Sandra Lee, who rose to fame for her pimple popping videos on social media, as she treats patients suffering from a variety of conditions including cysts and lipomas, skin conditions and painful injuries.‌In a 2023 episode, one man turned to Dr Lee for help, having first noticed cysts on his head just weeks earlier.He recounted how he had been at work when he was struck "twice in one day", confessing that he "nearly knocked himself out".He said: "I looked inside my hat, and I had spots of blood, and pus, and all of that inside my hat," reports the Daily Star.‌Content cannot be displayed without consentThe person accompanying him to the appointment added: "It was nasty, nasty."The patient went on to describe how the injury deteriorated dramatically, revealing that merely a week after the incident, "it smelt like death".‌"The smell would puke a buzzard off a gut-wagon," he said, in a previous clip shared on social media."It looked like scrambled eggs shoved underneath my scalp."‌Viewers were left utterly appalled by his ordeal, with one commenting: "That's okay. I didn't need my last meal to digest anyway…”Another said: “wow I'm never ever ever grossed out...but this.”Someone else wrote: “I’ll never eat scrambled eggs again,” as yet another said: “I’m not easily grossed out but this is disgusting.”‌A fifth echoed: “I think I've just discovered my popping limit.”Someone else added: “so gross,” as another viewer said: “Omg, I just ate breakfast.”‌Dr Lee has previously spoken about her quick to rise to fame, after originally sharing videos of her work in 2014 before her reality series launched in 2018.However, she also admitted she is horrified when people send her their pimple popping videos through their DMs.She told Metro: “People think that I love pops, so they’ll send me, like, horse abscesses, or animal abscesses, and I cannot even look at that.Article continues below“It gets me sweating just thinking about it. I don’t like to see stuff like that.”She added: “It’s interesting and amazing and fascinating to me that people really love this stuff and it makes them happy. That’s probably a misconception because people think that I automatically love it and they show me things and I’m like, no! I don’t want to see that!”
