Stepping out from behind the scenes, former DJ Maphorisa road manager Ricky Lenyora takes center stage with his debut album.
For years, Soweto-born Ricky Lenyora was the architect behind the scenes, managing logistics, protecting creative visions and watching crowds grow from the side of the stage. Now, he has stepped directly into the spotlight as an amapiano artist in his own right.
Lenyora, who is award-winning music producer DJ Maphorisa's former road manager, recently released his debut album, "Lenyora SZN", and its hit track "Sosha Nendlu", both of which are already taking over dancefloors around the country.
"Lenyora SZN" is my first body of work and one of the most important projects of my career so far, shares Lenyora.
"This project represents a specific chapter in my life, my journey and the growth I experienced personally and professionally within the music industry."
