MANILA, Philippines — In his fifth State of the Nation Address (Sona), President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. highlighted the government’s financial assistance to nearly 2 million farmers and fisherfolk during the recent surge in fuel prices, saying the Presidential Assistance to Farmers, Fisherfolk and Families (PAFFF) helped cushion the impact of rising oil costs.
