Pfizer Inc.
(NYSE:PFE) reported on Thursday topline data from two Phase 3 clinical trials assessing LITFULO as a once-daily treatment for nonsegmental vitiligo (NSV).
The trials demonstrated that the medication provided significant improvements for patients suffering from both active and stable forms of the condition across a broad range of disease severity.
Tackling NSV And Future Regulatory Filings Nonsegmental vitiligo is a chronic autoimmune disorder where the body's immune defenses mistakenly attack melanin-producing cells, resulting in the appearance of depigmented, white patches on the skin and hair over time.
Based on these positive outcomes, Pfizer is preparing to submit global applications to regulatory agencies.
