Sanofi discontinues amlitelimab development, citing lack of meaningful eczema benefit

Sanofi has discontinued clinical development of amlitelimab, an OX40 inhibitor, for the treatment of moderate to severe atopic dermatitis, citing a lack of meaningful additional benefits for patients, according to a press release.Based on a strategic assessment of the pipeline, the company decided it will not submit amlitelimab (SAR445229) for global regulatory review, according to the release.
