A youth was found murdered in a deserted area behind Bharathiar University campus in Coimbatore on Thursday.According to the police, people who went to collect wild honey in the area on Thursday morning found the body of a youth with injuries. They immediately alerted the Vadavalli police who rushed to the spot. The body was shifted to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital for post-mortem examination.The police later identified the deceased as R. Sasikumar (23), a resident of Kalveerampalayam. As per initial findings, he was strangled to death.Officers involved in the investigation said that they have received vital clues with regard to the murder. Further investigation is on.
