This striking 230-footer wants to be a sculptural beauty on the seas.

The European shipyard ISA Yachts just unveiled the details of its new superyacht concept, called Blade. The stunner is kicking off the brand’s collaboration with Barcelona-based Lobanov Design, known for whipping up curvy silhouettes across its creations.

That can certainly be seen on display on Blade, which draws design cues from vessels that took on the seas between late 19th and early 20th centuries with a modern twist. Here, you’ll see smooth, interrupted lines from bow to stern; the bow, in fact, is concave in its stainless-steel design, creating a clean flow across the superyacht. The aluminum superstructure, meanwhile, is made up of glass panels and black-painted surfaces, adding a nice contract to Blade’s bold white hue. Plus, the curves shown here are meant to evoke both movement and speed, a nod to the grand-sport superyacht category.

An overview of the Blade concept.
