ER Yacht Design wants you to explore the farthest reaches of the ocean in style.

The Canada-based studio has just unveiled a new expedition yacht that combines long-range cruising capability, superyacht-like comfort, and head-turning aesthetics.

The new ER 40 marks a departure from regular explorer designs, eschewing that typically boxy silhouette in favor of a cleaner, more sculptural profile with elegant lines and long, horizontal glazing that creates a modern yet timeless feel. Featuring a distinctive bow, carefully balanced volumes, and a strong superstructure, the yacht is refined enough for Mediterranean cruising, but rugged enough for far-flung adventures.

“This is a yacht designed for owners who want the freedom of serious cruising without giving up elegance, comfort, or visual appeal,” the studio says in a statement.
