The trial of Chatsworth double murder accused, Wasim Kudoos, who allegedly shot his gardener and a barber in their heads last October, is expected to coincide with the victims' first death anniversary.

Kudoos, 33, a Sars tax consultant, appeared in the Durban Regional Court on Tuesday.

State prosecutor Sandiso Ngonyama told the court that the State was ready to proceed to trial, and they had six witnesses.

Kudoos’ new legal representative, Ravindra Maniklall, confirmed to Magistrate Jadene Fitz Gerald that the financial arrangements had been made for the duration of the trial.
