The Kirikiri Lighter Terminal Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) generated N19.4 billion in revenue in June 2026, representing a 35 per cent increase from the N14.36 billion recorded in the corresponding period of 2025.
The Command also intercepted a 40-foot container loaded with expired disposable vape products with a Duty Paid Value (DPV) of N809.7 million.
Speaking on the development, the Acting Customs Area Controller, Deputy Comptroller of Customs Bolaji Adigun, attributed the improved revenue performance to the dedication of officers, enhanced stakeholder compliance, improved trade facilitation and the deployment of intelligence-driven strategies aimed at boosting revenue collection.
According to him, the Command realised N19.404 billion in June 2026, an increase of N5.04 billion over the N14.363 billion generated in June 2025.
